First Sentence Friday! CHAPTER TWENTY ONE

What you will come to know about Wallis Ann is that aside from being a hard-working young girl, she’s very dependable, and she too is a person of daily rituals and habits. She’s used to getting up and going to bed with the sun. Meanwhile, being part of a traveling show means adapting to their outside influences, and finding out those changes have the ability to affect her in more ways than one. It’s opening her eyes to how others cope, and live, to see that not everyone scraps out a living off the land. It’s an easier way of life and certainly not like she’d expected.
Chapter Twenty One
